These terms apply when you use the free instant preview, send us a custom brief, buy a plan or an add-on, or otherwise use the services of Busy Season. By sending a form or paying for a plan, you accept them. Questions: hello@busyseasonsites.com.
1. Who we are and who these terms are for
Busy Season is a brand of Pierre Narguet, entrepreneur individuel (EI), trading as MicroDev, a micro-enterprise registered in France (SIREN 932 132 566) ("we", "us"). Our services are for businesses, mainly building-trade contractors in the United States ("you"). They are not offered to consumers buying for personal use.
We work by email only. Everything we agree with you is confirmed in writing, by email.
2. The free preview and the custom homepage
- The instant preview on our website is free and builds in your browser from our templates and the details you type. It is a preview, not your final site: your real site gets your logo, your job photos, your reviews and the pages you need. Photos shown in previews are sample photos.
- If you send us a custom brief, we design your custom homepage for free, with no obligation, and aim to send it within 48 hours. To prepare it, we may use public information about your business, and the photos on your Google profile if you say we can.
- If it is not for you, just say no thanks. Until you start a plan, our designs stay ours and may not be used elsewhere.
3. Plans and prices

Monthly local SEO is included in Monthly and Yearly. On Buy it, it is an option at +$99/mo.
Add-ons: online booking and quotes +$39/mo; online payments $199 once + $49/mo; Google review requests +$29/mo; logo design $49 once (a simple wordmark of your business name is free); bigger changes beyond your included 30 minutes a month, $75 an hour, always quoted and approved by you before we start. Weekly posts on your Google profile are free on Monthly and Yearly, if you choose to add us as a manager.

4. Launch
We start building your site once your first payment has gone through. When we have what we need from you (for example your content, your license number and access to your domain), we aim to launch your site within 72 hours. Delays caused by missing information, domain transfers or third-party services do not count against that target.
5. Payment
- Payments are processed by Stripe. Plans and recurring add-ons renew automatically until cancelled.
- If a payment fails, we will email you. If it is still unpaid 14 days later, we may pause your site's hosting until it is settled. [to confirm the delay]
- Because you can see a free preview of your homepage before you pay anything, payments are non-refundable, except where the law requires otherwise. There is no money-back guarantee.
- We may change our prices for the future. We will tell you by email at least 30 days before a new price applies to your plan, and you can cancel before then. [to confirm]
6. Taxes
TVA non applicable, art. 293 B du CGI. Prices do not include any sales tax that may apply in your state; if one applies, it is your responsibility unless we tell you otherwise. [to review with an accountant]
7. Cancelling
- Email us to cancel. There is no cancellation fee and no buyout fee.
- Monthly and Yearly: your site stays online until the end of the period already paid. After that, we hand over your content and files (your words, photos and logo files) and help you point your domain wherever you want.
- Buy it: the site is already yours. If you stop the care plan, we hand over the site files so you can host it elsewhere.
8. Who owns what
- Your domain is registered in your name, from day one. It never belongs to us.
- Your content (your words, photos, logo, reviews and business information) stays yours. You allow us to use it only to build, host, update and promote your own site.
- The site itself: on Buy it, once paid in full, the design and files of your site are yours. On Monthly and Yearly, you may use the site as long as your plan runs; when it ends, your content and files are handed over as described in section 7. Our templates, tools and know-how stay ours.
- Logo design: once paid, the logo is yours, with all the files.
- We will not show your site in our portfolio without your permission.
9. What we ask of you
- Send us accurate information. You are responsible for your license number, insurance details, prices and claims on your site being true and up to date.
- Only send us photos, logos and text you have the right to use.
- Tell us when something on your site needs to change, for example your license, your service area or your hours.
- Do not ask us to publish anything illegal, misleading or that infringes someone else's rights. We may refuse such content.
10. SEO and results
We build and maintain your site following good local SEO practice, and on Monthly and Yearly we add a new local page every month and send you a ranking report. Nobody controls Google: we do not promise any ranking, position, number of calls, leads or sales.
11. Third-party services
Your site relies on services we do not control, such as your domain registrar, Cloudflare, Stripe, Google and any booking or payment tool you add. Their own terms apply, and we are not responsible for their outages or changes. If you add us as a manager on your Google profile, you stay the owner and can remove us at any time.
12. Availability and liability
We work hard to keep your site online, secure and backed up, but we cannot guarantee it will never be interrupted. To the extent the law allows, our total liability for any claim is limited to the amounts you paid us in the 12 months before the claim, and we are not liable for indirect losses such as lost profits or lost business. Nothing in these terms limits liability that cannot be limited by law. [to review with a lawyer]
13. Changes to these terms
We may update these terms. The date at the top shows the latest version. For clients, significant changes are announced by email at least 30 days in advance.
14. Law and disputes
These terms are governed by French law. If a disagreement comes up, email us first: most problems are solved in writing within a few days. If we cannot agree, the competent courts of [city], France, will have jurisdiction. [to review with a lawyer: governing law and courts for US clients]
These terms are written in English and Spanish. If the two versions differ, the English version prevails.
